Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 review And First Look

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphone has been launched,  There are many things that are upgraded but the biggest upgrade is Especially the cover screen. But that's just 1 part of it. there are many small upgrades which are very important. Even the looks are looking more premium now. Let's start the review of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Let's talk about Design 

It's similar to the previous one, but it was a little rounded. This one is absolutely flat. This looks very premium, it looks like an absolutely finished product. Many times, it's because of the foldable flip form factor & it's rough around the edges.

But this one is absolutely premium. and it's not just in the looks, you can feel it when you take it in your hand. If I fold it, there's absolutely no gap. It's a gapless design. If I compare it with the previous generation, there used to be a gap here, and because of that, it's reduced from 17.1mm to 15.1mm. So it's even more portable. In fact, the frame is made of armoured aluminium. 

Buttons 

1. There's a speaker grill & a USB Type C port.
2. There are 2 microphones at the bottom.
3. On the left hand side, there's a sim card tray.
4. There's a noise cancelling microphone at the top..
5. On the right hand side, there's a volume rocker at the top.
6. Then you have this power on and off button.Which is basically a fingerprint sensor.

Sim card slot 

It's not a dual nano sim card. It's a single nano sim card. But you can use 2 sims. But 1 should be an eSIM.

It has a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front & back. Its build quality is good.

The first upgrade is the cover display. This is 3.4 inches, in the previous generation it was 1.9 inches. So, it's nearly double the size & it's become very functional as well. you can use YouTube, Netflix and Maps for everything on the cover screen. You can even call and dial without opening it.

Let's talk about the display, this is a big 6.7'' FHD+, Super AMOLED 2X display. By the way, Super AMOLED 2X comes on the cover & inside as. Aspect Ratio is 22.9%. it has a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz.

It has the latest & greatest chipset, Qualcomm SD8 Gen 2, which has an AnTuTu score of 1.4M. So it's a super fast flippable phone. There are 2 variants, 8GB RAM & 256GB storage and 8GB RAM & 512GB storage. 

It has a LPDDR5 RAM type & UFS 4.0 storage type.

The camera resolution is the same as before. 12MP x 12MP and the front camera center punch hole is 10MP. You can use all the functions from the front screen. You get up to 10X digital zoom.

This starts at Rs 99,999 but if you buy it now, there are offers of up to Rs 20K. If you do an exchange, you'll get it for Rs  12K. So you will get Rs 80K.
